Siobhan is a nurse professional with extensive experience in the NHS who joined Kingston PCT on 3 September 2007 from Hillingdon PCT where she was Director of Provider Services and Chief Nurse for 7 years. An area of specialist interest is individual and organisation development in which Siobhan has a Masters Degree. Siobhan and her team led on the externalisation of Provider Services from the commissioning body NHS Kingston, operating first in shadow format for more than two years, and becoming Managing Director of Your Healthcare when it separated on 1 August 2010.
Steve, a life-long Medway resident, has extensive experience as a non-executive director, most recently as vice-chair of NHS Medway. He also sits on the Boards of a number of other private companies.
Alongside a successful 25 year career as managing director of a finance company in the international project finance industry, Steve has been actively involved in supporting the local community in arranging IT training and running free personal debt management courses as well as organising football training sessions. He also works with a social housing provider with close links to Medway and sits on its regional Board. Steve and his wife run a successful Medway based dog care business.
Siva started his professional study in 1978 at Kreston International MNS & Co, rising Audit Manager. During this period he gained auditing and accounting knowledge and experience in a wide range of organisations covering Commerce, Industries, Banks and the Public Sector including non-profit organisations. In 1983 he left to become an accountant for a UK housing association. During his four-year tenure, the organisation’s asset base grew from £1m to more than £50m.
In 1988, Siva joined international freight forwarders MAT Group Ltd as a Group Management Accountant with full responsibility for the Management Accounts of the main division MAT Transport Ltd. He left in 1997 after fulfilling a variety of roles within the Group and re-engineering the production of management information.
He joined Nestor Healthcare Group PLC the following year as Group Financial Controller and become the Finance Director of a number of subsidiaries within the group and the main division British Nursing Association (BNA), leaving in summer 2000 to start his own freelance finance consultancy, which he ran for eight years during which he acted as a financial consultant to a number of NHS organisations including London PCTs, Acute Trusts, and Mental Health Trusts. In July 2008 he was appointed Deputy Director of Finance at NHS Kingston before leading the finance function of the Provider Arm, and then taking up his current role in August 2010.
John is an E&Y Entrepreneur of the year 2014 – winner of the Social Enterprise Entrepreneur category. Innovation and customer care are John’s driving forces for patient care. John is passionate about social business and supports the wider industry by sharing knowledge of best practice. He is one of only 15 Mutual Ambassadors in the UK. Provide has also invested over £1m in worthy causes. He has a degree in Politics from the University of Essex and post-graduate degree from the University of Southbank in Urban Policy.
Although the bulk of John’s career so far has been in the local government setting, having worked for 16 years in various positions, he previously worked in both the voluntary and independent sectors. He was a transport planner with Essex County Council before moving into the planning and commissioning services in social care. He is credited with setting up community and accessible public transport schemes across the county of Essex.
John’s involvement with the NHS began in 2004 when he became PEC Chair of the former Maldon & South Chelmsford PCT, and then Joint PEC Chair of Mid Essex PCT. He was appointed Project Director, Provider Services in April 2007 and is now the Chief Executive of Provide.
Philip is the Executive Finance Director and Company Secretary at Provide CIC with responsibility for the Finance, Estate and IT within the company.
Philip is a qualified accountant (ACMA) with over 20 years’ experience in the NHS. The majority of this experience has been in the acute sector, having worked at board level within provider Trusts. Philip has been working in Community Health Services since 2009.
Before working in the NHS, Philip had six years’ experience working in the private sector as an accountant.
Having joined the NHS in 1995 starting in health promotion, Martin has worked both in commissioning and provision within PCTs.
Martin joined Medway PCT in 2006 as Director of Provider Development before taking the post of Managing Director of Medway Community Healthcare in March 2009. He was previously director of service development with Ashford PCT since 2003.
Having graduated from Canterbury, Martin then went on to complete a post grad diploma in health education before undertaking further studies in health management at City University, London.
